Multi-vehicle collision on Lansdowne Street East near bridge in Peterborough

At least six vehicles were involved in a collision on the Lansdowne Street East bridge on Monday afternoon.
The collision occurred around 2 p.m. near the intersection of River Road.
No word yet on the extent of injuries but several vehicles sustained extensive front-end damage.
The area is closed as Peterborough police investigate.
