Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson spoke on Thursday about the upcoming “Rolling Thunder” motorcycle convoy coming to demonstrate in the city this upcoming weekend. He explained some of the measures that the Ottawa police will be taking, including the development of an “enhanced operation plan.” This is meant to manage the event, which includes the establishment of a motor-vehicle exclusion zone and protesters not being allowed to drive into the downtown core.
