As air travel rules ease across the border, Chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam said she believed it was “prudent” to continue requiring the wearing of masks on planes, as an additional layer of protection amid the 6th wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. She also encouraged Canadians to stay up-to-date with the vaccine boosters.
