The green light has been given for a controversial housing project to be built in the parking lot of the Cadillac Fairview Pointe-Claire parking lot. City council voted in favour of removing the project from a temporary freeze on commercial and residential development. As Global’s Tim Sargeant explains, it means the promoters can begin with their first phase of the project.
