Following weeks of constant bombardment, the outskirts of Kyiv have gone quiet as Ukrainian forces retake territory around the country’s capital. What’s left, though, is utter devastation. Burned out military vehicles on residential blocks, homes destroyed and reports of the bodies of civilians in the streets.
