If you’ve driven between the Okanagan and the Lower Mainland via the Okanagan Connector, you have likely stopped there at some point- to buy a snack, stretch your legs or use the washroom. We’re talking about the former rest stop on the east side of Merritt. It was once a busy spot for the travelling public until the province de-commissioned it several years ago. But now there is a new vision for the site that will bring it back to life in a big way. Klaudia Van Emmerik explains.
