Toronto’s own Domee Shi inspires next generation of animators with Pixar feature, ‘Turning Red’

Award-winning Toronto filmmaker, Domee Shi is blazing the trail in the world of animation. The Chinese-Canadian’s latest film, ‘Turning Red’ is already generating plenty of buzz–and on the heels of the film’s Toronto premier, Shi returned to her roots to inspire the next generation of animators.
