NDP accuses Conservatives of using Russia-Ukraine conflict to promote pipeline construction

NDP MP Charlie Angus accused Conservatives on Thursday of using Russia’s invasion of Ukraine to promote “the pipedream of spending billions of taxpayers dollars on pipelines.” In response, Conservative MP Michael Chong said energy is “vital to defence and security.”
