Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Thursday that Canada has been working for “many weeks” to help Canadians and permanent residents in Ukraine flee to neighbouring countries and providing support for those who have chosen to remain in Ukraine. The government will also “accelerate visa applications and extensions” for Ukrainians in Canada, he said.
