Canada had fastest population growth among G7 countries between 2016 and 2021

Laurent Martel, director of the centre for demography at Statistics Canada, unveiled new data Wednesday that shows Canada’s population has seen the fastest population growth among G7 countries between 2016 and 2021. Martel said this population growth was driven by immigration.
