Government, industry, poverty groups addressing Alberta unemployment rate that’s been high since 2015

Last year, Alberta led the nation in long-term unemployment rates – a trend that started back in 2015 when oil prices crashed and persists to this day. As provincial affairs reporter Tom Vernon Explains, various levels of government, the energy industry and poverty groups are taking steps to get people from all walks of life back to work.
