Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott said on Tuesday that the province is updating its COVID-19 reporting to distinguish between patients hospitalized due to the virus and incidental admissions, or those who are admitted for other reasons but have tested positive. Currently, 46 per cent of people in Ontario hospitals with COVID-19 were admitted for other reasons, she said.
