For the first time since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, South Africa has lifted its overnight curfew. The government believes the country is past the peak of its fourth wave, driven by the Omicron variant. As Redmond Shannon reports, that is encouraging news for country’s like Canada, which is still experiencing a surge in cases.
