Ontario’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Kieran Moore said on Tuesday that he hopes the shortened recommended wait time after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine dose “will help with efficiencies and minimize contact time for individuals.” Patients previously had to wait 15 minutes after getting their shot, but the province has shortened it to five minutes.
