World Health Organization director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on Tuesday that the organization is concerned that countries rolling out vaccine booster programs for their entire adult population will further impact global vaccine inequity amid the spread of Omicron variant. He added that WHO is not against boosters, despite the lack of evidence, but they’re against vaccine hoarding.
