Provincial officials announced Thursday the Coquihalla Highway, the major road link between Vancouver and the rest of B.C., will re-open to limited traffic in early January — weeks before originally forecast. It’s good news for regions beleaguered by floods that caused more than $450 million in insured damage, and that does not include hundreds of millions more to repair public infrastructure.
