B.C. floods: Climate and disaster committee will ‘map out the way forward,’ Trudeau says

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau discussed the formation of a joint climate and disaster committee with British Columbia Premier John Horgan on Friday, which he said would “map out the way forward” and “establish a model for how we’re going to move forward as a country facing extreme challenges like this.” The committee will address disaster response and climate resilience.
