COVID-19: Canada has recovered 101% of jobs lost to pandemic, Freeland says

Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said on Wednesday that as of October, Canada has recovered 101 per cent of the jobs lost to the “COVID recession,” compared to 81 per cent of jobs recovered in the U.S. “Today there are more active businesses in Canada than there were before the pandemic hit,” she stated.
