Ontario will not mandate COVID-19 vaccine policy for hospital workers, says it doesn’t want to cancel surgeries

Ontario Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Christine Elliott said on Wednesday that officials made the decision not to implement a mandatory COVID-19 vaccine policy for hospital workers because they did not want to have to cancel surgeries in the province.
