Ontario Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Christine Elliott said Wednesday that the decision not to implement a mandatory COVID-19 vaccine policy for hospital workers is the “right decision for right now,” based on a risk assessment. She said they made the decision after assessing the situation in other provinces that have mandated the vaccine in health-care settings.
