It was about 18 times higher than her normal monthly mobile phone bill. An east Toronto long-term care resident was billed more than $1,000 for her monthly phone bill when her phone contract ended and a promotional offer ran out. Her daughter called Consumer SOS for help. Sean O’Shea reports.
