Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc invite Pope Francis to Kamloops

A number of B.C. First Nations responding to news that Pope Francis is planning to make a visit to Canada. The pontiff has been facing pressure to formally apologize for the major role played by the catholic church in Canada’s residential school system — and as Andrea Macpherson reports — the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc Nation wasted no time giving an invitation to the pope.
