Prime Minister Justin Trudeau committed on Monday to lowering Canadian flags on government buildings to half-mast on the annual National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to honour victims and survivors of residential schools. He made the commitment during a visit to Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation in Kamloops, B.C.
