Colin Powell, former U.S. secretary of state, dies from COVID-19 complications: family

The family of former U.S. secretary of state Colin Powell has died from COVID-19 complications, his family said on Monday. The 84-year-old, who was the first Black secretary of state, also served as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff during George H.W. Bush’s presidency.
