The hearings into Bill 96, Quebec’s new language law, wrapped up in Quebec City on Thursday. Many groups have taken the stand in favour of strengthening the French Language but as Global’s Tim Sargeant reports, many minority groups and Montreal’s business community are concerned about the proposed legislation’s repercussions.
