In 2018, the St. Peter Catholic Secondary School Saints won their first Kawartha football title since 1970. The Peterborough team repeated as champs in 2019, but then the COVID pandemic forced high school sports to be cancelled for a year.
Football is now back at St. Petes, and the program is looking to pick up where it left off.
