Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit officials are reporting lower than average COVID-19 vaccination rates among pregnant women in its jurisdiction. Only about 47 per cent of pregnant women have two doses of vaccine, while the rest of the area's eligible population is nearly at 80 per cent. Jessica Nyznik reports.
