Transport Minister Omar Alghabra said on Friday that along with making COVID-19 vaccinations mandatory for federal workers, there would also be vaccine requirements for federally regulated air, rail and marine transportation sectors “no later than the end of October.” Alghabra added that COVID-19 vaccine requirements will also extend to certain travellers on commercial flights, passengers on interprovincial trains and on large marine vessels.
