The real estate listing of a decades-old strip mall in the West Island is creating a lot of controversy. The property for sale is zoned for commercial use, but the brokers are describing the location as ideal for high-end condos. Tenants and clients don’t approve. As Global’s Tim Sargeant reports, they would rather see the building renovated, but kept commercial.
