City councillors pen open letter to Toronto mayor calling for an end to violence during encampment evictions

Many advocates say the display of force by police during the encampment evictions at Lamport Stadium Park this week was completely unnecessary this week. However, the city mayor stands by the actions of officers. A group of city councillors has written an open letter begging Mayor Tory to change his approach going forward. Katherine Ward reports.
