One in four pregnancies ends in loss – and that number is expected to be much higher due to underreporting. It’s an issue that’s rarely spoken about, which is why a program at Toronto’s Sunnybrook Hospital is launching a new initiative. Miranda Anthistle spoke with its manager about normalizing the discussion on pregnancy and infant loss, and what’s being done to reduce the isolation and stigma surrounding it.
