One person was taken into custody yesterday evening after a crash in Welcome. It happened at County Roads 2 and 10 shortly after 6 p.m. Police say a white pickup truck rear ended a grey pickup truck waiting at the intersection. The driver of the white truck continued to drive for a short distance before stopping at a nearby business. Five people were assessed by paramedics at the scene, though no one was taken to hospital. There’s no word on whether charges have been laid.
