Nova Scotia announces 1st case of rare blood clot linked to AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine

Nova Scotia announced on Wednesday the province’s first case of vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT), a rare blood clotting condition, in someone who received the first dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
