Calls for paid sick days increase

As the COVID 19 pandemic continues, calls for paid sick days continue to increase. Ontario’s provincial government says such a program should be in the hands of the federal government, while the federal government says paid sick leave is up to Ontario. Former federal NDP candidate Candace Shaw joined Global News Morning Peterborough on April 28-an international day to mourn workers killed, injured or sickened on the job-to talk about vaccinations, essential workers, sick days and the pandemic.
