People with chronic illnesses, such as cancer, dialysis and transplant patients will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Essential workers, such as primary and secondary teachers, daycare workers and police officers will also be able to book their appointments. As Global’s Raquel Fletcher explains, the Astra Zeneca Vaccine will also be made available to those 55 and over.
