Canada’s chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam said on Friday that with the rise of variant cases people still have to hold on longer and make a “last big push” in terms of limiting social interactions until vaccines protect the wider population. She urged people to limit how many people they interact with and gather safely or virtually as Easter, Passover and Ramadan approach.
