Health Canada’s chief medical advisor Dr. Supriya Sharma said Tuesday the agency is in the process of adding a warning about a rare potential risk of blood clots to the product information the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine, but added the vaccine is still safe and effective against COVID-19.
