A Chinese court did not deliver a verdict in the case of detained Canadian Michael Spavor. He’s been held for more than two years in what is widely-viewed as retaliation for Canada’s detention of Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou. As Abigail Bimman reports, a similar scenario is expected when another Canadian detainee, Michael Kovrig, goes on trial Monday.
