U.S. FBI director Christopher Wray on Tuesday said that he was “appalled” by the attack on the Capitol building on Jan. 6 and the agency viewed it as an act of “domestic terrorism.” He said they were investigating those who may have been involved and received more than 270,000 tips from the public, leading to hundreds of suspects and more than 270 arrests.
