Pelosi announces 9/11-style commission into U.S. Capitol riot

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced on Monday a plan for an independent commission, modelled on a similar one convened after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, that would look into the “facts and causes” of the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.
