Coronavirus: Canada to introduce new stricter COVID-19 measures at land crossings

Speaking to reporters on Friday, Bill Blair, minister of public safety and emergency preparedness, said Canada is considering introducing stricter measures at Canada’s land border with the U.S., requiring all non-essential travelers to have taken a COVID-19 test 72 hours before seeking entry. Blair said commercial truckers would be exempt from this rule.
