Rochelle Squires, Manitoba’s minister of families, announced on Tuesday the government would pledge another $468,000 dollars in funding for the Main Street Project to operate isolation units for homeless people needing to quarantine during COVID-19. The funding brings the total support for the project to $2.1 million.
