Vice-president-elect Kamala Harris spoke Monday at the Biden Inaugural Committee’s virtual celebration for Martin Luther King Jr. Day (MLK), telling listeners the civil rights leader called on people to “bring together the different voices of our country.” Harris added that the upcoming inauguration “marks a new beginning for our country, a new chance to heal, rebuild and strengthen this democracy.”
