Trump impeachment: House Republican leader calls mob ‘criminal,’ says president bears responsibility
Description
January 13, 2021
U.S. House Minority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy, a Republican, called the mob that stormed the Capitol building a week ago “criminal” and an attack on those who work there and stressed despite theories, it was not caused by Antifa. He then went on to criticize impeachment “in such a short time frame,” but said Trump “bears responsibility for these attacks by mob rioters.” He also said Joe Biden had won the election, which he had not yet done so verbally since the election.
