Prime Minister Justin Trudeau commented Tuesday on Innovation Minister Navdeep Bains’ announcement that he is stepping down, saying he has “worked tirelessly to build a better Canada for everyone.” Bains, who has also served as MP for Mississauga-Malton since 2008, said in a video posted on Twitter on Tuesday morning that he plans to spend more time with his family and has decided not to run in the next election.
