U.S. Capitol riot: House Sergeant-at-arms resigns, new sergeant sworn in

U.S. House of Representatives’ Sergeant-at-Arms Paul Irving submitted his resignation Monday following the riot that occurred last Wednesday at the Capitol building. Timothy Blodgett was then sworn in after being appointed to the position.
