Global BC captured a few brave souls out on New Year's Day celebrating the start of 2021 with a fresh swim in the icy waters off of Vancouver beaches. Annual polar bear swims in the province were cancelled this year due to the pandemic, and swimmers were asked to participate virtually instead.
