Coronavirus: Manitoba’s projected deficit shrinks to $2B, finance minister says
Description
December 17, 2020
Manitoba's finance minister Scott Fielding outlined a mid-year finance report on Thursday that projected a lower-than-expected year-end deficit of $2.048 billion, down from the $2.938 billion it projected last fiscal report in September, in part thanks to federal transfer supports during the coronavirus pandemic.
