Procurement minister defends Canada’s COVID-19 vaccine portfolio

Public Service and Procurement Minister Anita Anand tells Mercedes Stephenson on “The West Block” that Canada has procured the highest number of doses per capita of COVID-19 vaccines in the world. Minister Anand says the government is, “working on a two-track system to make sure we have a very diverse portfolio of vaccines on the one hand, and investing in domestic manufacturing and research on the other.”
