Coronavirus: Nova Scotia extending winter break for public schools, Premier says

Nova Scotia Premier Stephen McNeil announced on Friday that the last day of classes would be Dec. 18, and schools would not reopen to students until Jan. 11. McNeil said they are closing schools “out of an abundance of caution” as the winter holidays approach.
